Hocking Hills State Park

Hocking Hills provides a variety of recreational opportunities in a splendid natural setting. Towering cliffs, waterfalls, and deep hemlock-shaded gorges lure the hiker and naturalist and serve as a backdrop to popular facilities and accommodations.

Old Man's Cave

​The most popular of all the Hocking Hills areas is Old Man's Cave, located on State Route 664. Here at the Upper Falls, the Grandma Gatewood Trail begins its six-mile course connecting three of the park's areas: Old Man's Cave to Cedar Falls to Ash Cave. This same trail has been designated as part of Ohio's Buckeye Trail as well as part of two nation systems - the North Country Scenic trail and America's Discovery Trail.
 

Rock House

​Rock House is unique in the Hocking Hills' region, as it is the only true cave in the park. It is a tunnel-like corridor situated midway up a 150-foot cliff of Blackhand sandstone.

The Hocking Hills Farmers Flea Market showcases antiques, art, collectibles, crafts, music, food & local produce. Our merchants are local to the Hocking Hills and surrounding areas. Nestled in the hills of Hocking County, it's beautiful setting adds enjoyment to your shopping experience. Search for treasures & bargains among the numerous vendors that setup each weekend (often over 100).

Climb Hocking

Hocking Hills Rock Climbing at it's best - Outdoor Adventures - specializes in Hocking Hills rock climbing, offering guided outings in the hocking Forest near Logan, OH. Long known for its rugged cliff edges and secluded wilderness areas, this section of Southeastern Ohio if filled with lush forestland, enormous rock formations and stately hemlock trees that make up the backdrop for your climb one you'll never forget.

Ash Cave

In the southernmost reaches of Hocking Hills is Ash Cave - beyond doubt the most spectacular feature of the entire park. Ash Cave is the largest, most impressive recess cave in the state.



Lake Logan

The lake has abundant populations of large mouth bass, bluegill, crappie, northern pike and saugeye, plus channel, flathead and bullhead catfish. 400 acre lake. 530 foot beach for sunbathers and swimmers.

Stone Valley Ranch Horseback Riding
Offers Guided Trail Riding on healthy well mannered horses, a variety of horses and trails to appeal to new riders, families with children and the seasoned rider. Ride on 480 acres of private trails, or, for a saddle sore weekend conveniently located near thousands of acres of trails through Hocking State Forest, Zaleski State Forest, or Wayne National Forest.

Cedar Falls

Cedar Falls itself is the greatest waterfall in terms of volume in the Hocking region. Queer Creek tumbles over the face of the Blackhand displaying the awesome force of water power.
 

Tar Hollow State Park
Twisting park and forest roads pass through deep ravines and dense woodlands. Scattered shortleaf and pitch pines growing on the ridges were once a source of pine tar for early settlers, hence the name Tar Hollow. Dogwoods, redbuds and variety of wildflowers color the hillsides in the springtime. Fall's pageant of color is spectacular.



Wind Chime Shop

With over 2000 chimes, it would be hard to find anyplace in Ohio having more wind chimes than this shop. Only a few minutes from Old Man's Cave, the shop also offers Christmas items and candles.



Wicker Cabin Gifts

The Wicker Cabin Gift Shop has fine Hocking Hills crafts, collectibles and handcrafted keepsakes available for just about every occasion and season. Specializing in local collectibles, the shop features teddy bears, candles, and so much more.



Adventure Golf

Adventure Golf at Rempel's Grove is Fun for the whole family! It was completed in 1999 by one of the premier miniature golf course designers in the country.
